Week Three | The Huts | Saturday Night
We need to talk.
[ She's been tailing him a little bit since the trial ended, watching and waiting for the others to disperse before she approaches. When she speaks she is not mean, or angry, but oddly firm-- odd for someone who usually always sounds like she's never sure of anything. ]
This way--
[ She motions for him to follow him to her hut-- Vriska is not there, and that's for the better. When they are finally inside she speaks again.]
I don't expect you to answer all of my questions, it wouldn't make sense if you did. But I need to ask them anyway.. is that okay?
[ She sounds a little more like her "normal" self, but only briefly. ]

[He smiles, though, shaking his head again.]
It's definitely a fair assessment that there's no one forcing me to do anything. Anything any of the Sirens do is of their own free will, technically speaking.
IM IN BACKTAGGING HELL IM SORRY
[ She knows he can't offer her much more, but there's one last thing on her mind.. ]
You said something during the trial-- if the sirens kill everyone the game ends and we all go home. Is that what they told you..? It doesn't make much sense to pit us against one another if we're all promised a happy ending.
NO WORRIES
[As for the other thing? Well.]
That's what it said in the rules they gave us. Presumably it's all just part of one big charade for the Chiefs' entertainment. Though... for what it's worth, we were told we didn't need to kill everyone.
[Just almost everyone.]

So she ceases in her prying, and tries to give him a reassuring smile. ]
I will, I have been. She's really important to me, even outside of this partner stuff.
[ ... ]
I hope wherever you end up after this place is a little better.
[ Because she knows full well death is rarely the end. ]

[The grin he gives her is crooked, but sincere.]
I hope everything turns out okay for all of us. If it does, maybe we'll get to talk again.
