Week Three | The Beach | Saturday Night
[ She makes as much noise as possible, walking through the grass and the sand.
On nights like tonight you don't want to make the mistake of sneaking up on someone when you didn't mean to.
She gives her time, and she gives herself time. And when she feels ready (and hopes Vriska is ready), she finds her. ]
It's late.. or maybe it's early? Whatever it is, you've been out here for a very long time.
[ She has a beach towel wrapped around her like a blanket, and she looks a little pale. ]
You're not okay.
[ It's a statement, not a question. ]

We can stay here all night if you want.
[ In the morning the others will join them on the beach, they will make their final requests and the game will go on. But for now it's just them and the ocean.
She shifts a little, so that she has one arm around Vriska and her eyes on the water. ]
You don't have to do this you know.
[ She's talking about Battler and the execution but she doesn't want to say anymore about it than she has to. ]
There's nothing you have to take responsibility for.

Either way, Vriska just leans into Jinah and is quiet for a time. ]
Maybe not. But I think I might be one of the only people here who can fix this. And I'm going to.

You say you have to fix things but.. you didn't do anything wrong. None of this is your mess.
[ But Vriska is Vriska-- despite the short time they've spent together she knows there's not much point in trying to talk her down from anything. ]
But I guess that doesn't matter, just.. whatever it is you're going to do-- I trust you, I think I would even if you weren't my partner.
