Week Two | The Huts | Saturday Evening
[ There's always a sort of quiet unrest when they're all let free from the Longhouse. Everyone is tired, hungry and just a little less hopeful. It's not the most opportune time to seek out help, but she wants to take care of this as soon as possible. ]
Um, hello? Katara..? [ The door is slightly ajar, but she knocks and speaks quietly. ]
I'm sorry for bothering you, I know we haven't really spoken but you seemed like the right person to come to.
Um, hello? Katara..? [ The door is slightly ajar, but she knocks and speaks quietly. ]
I'm sorry for bothering you, I know we haven't really spoken but you seemed like the right person to come to.

[ she looks a little surprised, but the expression disappears quickly in favor for a small smile. she remembers what vriska said. she's a sweet girl. ]
Come in. Inuyasha isn't around.

You don't have to help me, I know we're all busy-- so even just advice is fine. I overheard someone say you knew something about first aid so I was hoping you could tell me what to do about this.
[ She rolls up her sleeves. No one but Prussia had really seen them during the trial but there are what look like papercuts all around her fingers and up and down her skin up to her elbows. They're pretty shallow, mostly just pink though a few are a little bit red. All the scars pretty obviously form letters and words.]
Vriska won't stop fussing, and I don't want them to get infected. I have some cloth for bandages but I don't really know what else to do.

she immediately rushes over to get a better look at it, her expression turning into one of concern. ]
What happened? Is this from here?

[ It's strange to have the words on her skin looked at so carefully, so she tries to deal with her embarrassment by unraveling the strips of cloth she'd cut up in lieu of bandages. ]
I did this to myself when we were all seeing those things. I have things to use for bandages like I said.. but they still hurt a little and I'm worried they might not heal nicely.

[ she'll walk over to grab the first aid kit before gesturing for jinah to sit down on her bed. ]
I only saw my mother.

When Katara speaks she's caught off guard momentarily, she doesn't expect any sort of offering of empathy. Especially not when tensions were as high as they'd been. ]
I saw.. someone who I loved. It was good at first, but then it wasn't.
[ She busies herself with rolling up the sleeves of her sweater, they'd slipped down when she'd sat down. ]
..Do you miss your mom here?

I'm sorry about your visions. They sound... terrible. [ terrible like everything else is here. ] I always miss my mom, she died a long time ago. It was... kind of nice seeing her, for a bit.
[ only kind of. it was still fake. ]

I get it, I think. That's how I felt too at first. This whole time.. I don't think I've really been homesick? But seeing someone I cared about was more of a comfort than I thought it would be.
[ She thinks about the trial; about what has happened, and what will come next. She watches Katara work for a moment, and then she speaks. ]
Everyone has been getting along for the most part but I think.. I think that might not last much longer.

I feel like... the closer we get to each other, the more we're going to end up disagreeing. If someone kills a person and get caught, what will happen if everyone loves their partner?
[ would they refuse to vote for the confirmed killer to save the person whose life is attached to theirs? ]
