Week Two | The Huts | Thursday Evening
[ She's humming to herself, an almost skip in her step as she walks. It's Thursday but somehow she isn't at all afraid, doesn't seem at all concerned about whether the Chief will make good on his word. After all, Shin had promised her-- all she needed to do was get inside by curfew. Everything would be okay.
She doesn't question why she'd seen him today, or how he'd gotten here. She was just happy to see him, happy for to see something familiar that hadn't been ruined by everything that had happened before this place.
She doesn't really register whatever state Bellamy is in before she says hello. ]
Good evening!
[ She approaches in a strangely good mood, more curious about what he's up to than anything else. ]
You're still out here? We have to get inside soon, you know.

What?

Almost like a confused child, she waves a hand over his eyes. ]
What's wrong? You look like you just saw a ghost.
[ Despite her casual tone the concern is evident in her features. ]
Do you want me to take you back to your hut? You don't look very good at all Bellamy.
no subject
I'm fine. Just... seeing things like everyone else.
[His voice is strained, and it's clear he's trying to keep it together.]
no subject
What kinds of things? Can you talk about them?
no subject
It's...
[He doesn't know how to talk about this. Where does he start?]
Friends from home. They're not actually here.
no subject
[ She grows more and more confused. ]
I saw a friend today too, but it was really nice! Are you seeing something more than that..? Or were they not happy to see you too?
no subject
It's not...
[How does he even talk about this? He's not sure he wants to, but Jinah has been so honest with him that he can't bring himself to brush her off. His response is quiet, his voice rough.]
She died three weeks ago. I would rather have her here.
